You’ve all heard that before. So, what makes Astaria stand out from the rest? Well, it’s simple really. The horses in Astaria are actually quite normal. That is, if you visit them during the day. There is nothing strange about them, no wings jutting out of abnormal places; no horns. There is nothing. Though, when the sun sets below the horizon and the moon, Illyiah appears they change. The horses of Astaria become the supernatural, capable of flying, transforming, manipulating the elements; the list is endless. That sounds pretty nice, right? Well, you haven’t heard the catch yet. Some horses of Astaria are not blessed with a power, they have something else entirely. It is called a curse. These curses are only active when the moon Vardre rises. These horses transform into other things, sometimes what they fear and sometimes what others fear. A select few even prey on their own kind. Huh. That’s different, right? Now that you have the basic idea, let me tell you a little bit about the History of Astaria.
